The Origins
Bramante, a prestigious Italian knitwear factory, was founded in 1986 in the Tuscan town of Sansepolcro, birthplace of Piero della Francesca. However, its genesis has much more distant origins.
The Story
Angela Carlotto Conti, born in 1919, founded one of the most prestigious textile groups in Italy with her husband. After the war, in 1947, they opened a knitwear workshop in Sansepolcro. She was a reference figure for the local community.
